Description

The PROTOS® Neck Protector is available in five colours – yellow, orange, blue, red, and black – allowing you to customise your helmet to suit your work environment or team requirements. Manufactured from high-quality 3-layer SympaTex® performance fabric, it provides reliable protection against dirt, moisture, and debris reaching the neck area.

Designed for demanding forestry, arborist, and industrial applications, the neck protector is both water- and dirt-resistant, making it easy to clean and highly durable in tough working conditions. The practical clip-in system allows quick and secure attachment directly to the neck shell of the PROTOS® helmet for a seamless fit and maximum comfort.

FIRE RATED Neck Protector

Description

Neck Cape Fire Rated Orange to fit all PROTOS Helmets

Must already have or purchase an original PROTOS neck cape to fit FR neck cape to the PROTOS helmet.

Simply remove the clip from the original PROTOS neck cape and fit the attaching clip to the fire rated neck cape.

Thanks to its material and shape, the neck protection prevents dirt and liquids from reaching the neck. Moreover, the neck protection itself is dirt- and water-proof, which makes it easy to clean. The neck protection can be attached via a simple clipping to the neck shell of the PROTOS®.

Description

The etch metal visor for the PROTOS® fits precisely on the head protection. Through this fit, there are no protruding parts or cavities, in which branches and debris can get caught.

Facial protection visor with 16/39 openings/cm2. Thanks to its special coating, sunlight reflection as well as the visor freezing temperatures below zero are prevented.

Launching Exclusive Customised Visors for your Protos helmet

All designs are printed onto the standard Protos F39 visor to give the best result.

The visors are created by Protos in Austria and therefore still meet the required EN 1731 safety standard. These are not an airbrushed, after market product. The visibility for the wearer is completely unobstructed by the artwork due to the special production technique used by Protos.

PROTOS® CLEAR VISOR

Description

The PROTOS® Clear Visor is an extremely lightweight polycarbonate visor. The patented rubber edge on top of the visor prevents liquids, dust and rain from penetrating from above, and lets them drain away on the left or right side of the visor. Furthermore, the PROTOS® Clear Visor is fully operational even in extreme temperatures from -5° to +55° C, allowing an all-year use. The polycarbonate visor is tested and approved according to EN 166:2002 protection class 1FT and offers a UV protection filter.

PROTOS® SAFETY GLASSES SB1-4 E

Description

Designed for professionals working in industry, construction, arboriculture and forestry, the new safety glasses deliver enhanced protection and superior comfort to meet the latest EU safety standard (EN ISO 16321).

Building on the success of the previous model, the PROTOS® SB 1–4 features a significantly expanded protection area, ensuring maximum eye safety even in the most demanding environments.

The newly designed ergonomic nose bridge guarantees a secure and comfortable fit — even during long shifts and constantly changing conditions. As with the previous model, the PROTOS® SB 1–4 Safety Glasses click into position on the helmet headband, and when not in use, they conveniently slide up inside the helmet.

The assembled safety glasses can be swivelled in and out of the stand-by position without having to change the tilt or length adjustment. A small locking lug keeps the glasses securely in the upper park position. All PROTOS® safety spectacles are ideal for and, thanks to the extended test for extreme temperatures, are also ideal for indoor and outdoor use (-5°C to +55°C). The optimised E models offer a significantly extended protective area coverage, especially to the sides and downwards.

PROTOS® OPTICAL GLASSES INSERT

DESCRIPTION

The Optical Insert has been specifically designed for the PROTOS® Safety Glasses. It can be easily clipped to the bridge of the PROTOS® Safety Glasses. Your optician can easily mount optical lenses up to +/-4 dioptres into the glass insert. The lenses are fully protected, as they are placed behind the protective glasses. A major advantage of the integrated glass insert is that no temples interfere with the ear protector, and hence do not exert any uncomfortable pressure on the head.

PROTOS® HEARING PROTECTION

EAR MUFFS ARE SOLD INDIVIDUALLY

Description

The patented hearing protection of the PROTOS® provides a noise reduction of SNR=27 dB, thus creating a safe level. By meeting the standard EN 352-3, the hearing protection is indispensable for all work with disruptive or harmful noise. If the hearing protection is not required, it can be easily shifted between the active and passive positions using two fingers. The hearing protectors can be (un)clipped easily with two fingers.

To maintain the noise absorption values, the Absorption Inserts (Item 204059) For hygiene reasons, should be replaced regularly and the Support Pad (Item 204062) We recommend the replacement every 6 – 12 months, or, at the latest, when the outer material hardens (impairment of the sound insulation).

PROTOS® Torch Light Large

Description

The Torch Light is an LED safety lamp, which is mounted outside of the PROTOS®. This torch, which is not conductive, has been certified by DEKRA. In addition, It is explosion-proof according to ATEX zones 1 and 21. Thanks to a light flux of around 120 lumens, the lamp provides enough illumination for the majority of tasks. The torch light is mounted on the PROTOS® via a magnetic system. However, this system is also suitable for the belt clip.

KLIMA AIR® SET – Hygiene Kit

Description

The main and neck pad and the headband of the PROTOS® are made of high-quality functional fibres in combination with our proven KlimaAIR® technology. This combination, together with the optimised main support, ensures an ideal airflow around the head. The complete set can be removed and is machine washable at max. 30°C.

For hygiene reasons, we recommend that you wash the KlimaAIR® Set regularly use and replace it every 2–3 years in case of frequent use.
